Peter Vogel

Peter, is a serial entrepreneur, entrepreneurship trainer and scholar. Peter is a researcher and the director of the Center for Entrepreneurship at the University of St. Gallen. Prior to joining the University of St. Gallen, Peter obtained a PhD from EPFL, a MSc from ETH Zurich and a BSc from ETH Zurich and Georgia Tech. During his PhD he investigates active labor market policies that foster entrepreneurship as a career path, particularly among the unemployed. Peter serves as a strategic advisor to several governments and universities in their innovation, SME and entrepreneurship strategies as well as labor market related topics. He is think-tank member of the World Entrepreneurship Forum, member of the World Economic Forum Global Shapers Community and a Global Economic Symposium Fellow. He has been speaking about entrepreneurship and innovation at the OECD, TEDx, the G20 Youth Forum. the G20 Young Entrepreneurs Alliance, among several other global conferences. Peter is the author of the book “Generation Jobless?”.
