Catherine Faherty is a Ph.D. research scholar with Dublin City University (DCU). Her research interests are primarily concerned with innovation in multi-generational family firms. Catherine holds a Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS) degree from DCU, where she graduated in 2013. She is a member of the global STEP project from Babson College, USA. The STEP (Successful Transgenerational Entrepreneurship Practices) project is the first worldwide research initiative to focus on how the entrepreneurial and innovative mind-set within family businesses are passed from one generation to the next. Catherine is an Irish Research Council Enterprise Partnership Scholar and her research is supervised by Dr. Eric Clinton.
